Becoming a Clinically Integrated Network
A clinically integrated network allows health care providers to work together in an interdependent and mutually accountable manner to develop and implement clinical protocols, and monitor and improve outcomes. The goal is to deliver efficient, high quality care through the collaboration of independent and employed physicians, hospitals and payors to improve the health of populations.
This network provides a foundation to focus on the quality of outcomes, rather than reimbursement based on volume or the number of patients seen.
